ESPN Drops the Big One – Every Premier League Deal in One Place
ESPN updated their monster transfer tracker early this morning and it is a lot.

Arsenal Finally Get Their Man
The Gunners have landed Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle for 75 million pounds.
They also made Piero Hincapie’s loan permanent, signed Illan Meslier on a free from Leeds, and grabbed Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for 34 million. Not a bad window for Arteta.
Manchester City Break the Bank for Elliot Anderson
Pep’s replacement – whoever that ends up being – will have Elliot Anderson to work with. City paid Nottingham Forest a whopping 116 million pounds for the midfielder.
They also signed Jeremy Monga and Pierce Charles. Out the door went Bernardo Silva on a free to Real Madrid, John Stones on a free to Inter Milan, Manuel Akanji to Inter for an undisclosed fee, Nathan Ake to Fenerbahce for 7 million, and James Trafford to Leeds for 40 million. City’s midfield is getting a facelift.
Tottenham Spend Like They Just Won the Lottery
Spurs have been absolutely wild this summer. They signed Sandro Tonali from Newcastle for 100 million pounds, Mateus Fernandes from West Ham for 85 million, and Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton for 52 million.
Oh, and they also picked up Andy Robertson on a free from Liverpool, Marcos Senesi on a free from Bournemouth, and Martin Dubravka on a free from Burnley. Out went Luka Vuskovic to Brighton for 50 million, Will Lankshear to Middlesbrough for 20 million, and Yves Bissouma was released. Levy’s credit card is melting.
Chelsea’s Collection of Attacking Midfielders is Now Officially a Hoarding Situation
The Blues paid Aston Villa 117 million pounds for Morgan Rogers.
They also signed Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace, Marco Palestra from Atalanta for 47 million, Geovany Quenda, Denner, Dastan Satpaev, Emmanuel Emegha, Valentin Barco, and Danny Welbeck from Brighton. Oh, and they picked up Jordan Henderson on a free after he left Brentford. Out went Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid for 51.8 million, Andrey Santos to Manchester United for 48 million, Trevoh Chalobah to Como for 25 million, and Alejandro Garnacho to Aston Villa on loan. Todd Boehly is playing Football Manager on easy mode.
Liverpool’s Summer of Goodbyes Continues
The Reds signed Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes for 55 million, Victor Munoz from Osasuna for 35 million, Samuel Martinez, and Ronald Araujo on loan from Barcelona.
But the bigger story is who left. Mohamed Salah was released. Andy Robertson left on a free for Tottenham. Ibrahima Konate left on a free for Real Madrid. Rhys Williams was released. Anfield is starting to look like a ghost town.
Newcastle’s Fire Sale Rolls On
The Magpies sold Bruno Guimaraes to Arsenal for 75 million, Sandro Tonali to Tottenham for 100 million, and Anthony Gordon to Barcelona for 60.5 million.
They also released or sold Kieran Trippier, Emil Krath, John Ruddy, and Matt Targett. In came Ewen Jaouen, Bazoumana Toure from Hoffenheim for 42 million, Sean Steur from Ajax for 23 million, Aladji Bamba, and Lukas Hornicek from Braga for 25.7 million. Newcastle are basically rebuilding from scratch under new boss Alexander Jaissle.
Manchester United’s Carrick Era Begins with a Shopping Spree
Michael Carrick has signed Andrey Santos from Chelsea for 48 million, Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa for 35 million, Tynan Thompson from Tottenham, and Karl Darlow on a free from Leeds.
Out went Rasmus Hojlund to Napoli for 43.2 million, Andre Onana on loan to Trabzonspor, Casemiro on a free to Inter Miami, Jadon Sancho released, Tyrell Malacia released, and Altay Bayindir on loan to Celta Vigo. The squad is getting a serious overhaul.
Aston Villa Cash In
Villa sold Morgan Rogers to Chelsea for 117 million and Youri Tielemans to United for 35 million.
They brought in Alejandro Garnacho on loan from Chelsea, Joao Gomes from Wolves for 34 million, Johan Manzambi from Freiburg for 59.5 million, and Modou Keba Cisse. Donyell Malen went to Roma, Enzo Barrenechea to Benfica, and Lucas Digne to PSG.
Fulham Sign Two Real Madrid Kids
The Cottagers have signed Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid, plus Shea Charles from Southampton for 30 million and Jonah Kusi-Asare from Bayern Munich.
Out went Raul Jimenez on a free to Wolves, Harry Wilson on a free to Leeds, Issa Diop to Ipswich for 8.5 million, and Sasa Lukic to Ipswich.
Everton and Crystal Palace Complete That Swap
We mentioned this yesterday but it’s now official – Dwight McNeil goes to Crystal Palace, Brennan Johnson goes to Everton.
Everton also signed Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough for 25 million, Tyrique George from Chelsea for 24 million, Merlin Rohl, and Christian Norgaard from Arsenal. Seamus Coleman and Idrissa Gueye were released.
Brighton Lose Half Their Squad
The Seagulls sold Jan Paul van Hecke to Tottenham for 52 million, Danny Welbeck to Chelsea, Jeremy Sarmiento to Middlesbrough, and Luka Vuskovic – wait, no, they bought Vuskovic from Tottenham for 50 million.
They also signed Pascal Struijk from Leeds, Costinha, Zadok Yohanna, Rodrigo Rego, Michael Svoboda, and Carl Rushworth from Coventry. James Milner retired. Solly March, Adam Webster, and Joel Veltman were all released. Brighton’s recruitment team is going to need a holiday.

- Nottingham Forest signed Ousmane Diomande and Xaver Schlager on a free from RB Leipzig, but lost Elliot Anderson to City for 116 million.
- Leeds signed James Trafford from City for 40 million and Harry Wilson on a free from Fulham, but lost Illan Meslier to Arsenal on a free and Karl Darlow to United on a free.
- Brentford signed Callum Wilson on a free from West Ham but lost Jordan Henderson to Chelsea on a free.

Liverpool Told to Hijack Arsenal Teenager
Goal.com reports that Liverpool have been strongly advised to launch a transfer hijack for Arsenal midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly.
The versatile teenager has been offered to Chelsea and Manchester United too, but apparently Anfield is the perfect spot for him. Arsenal legend Lee Dixon also thinks a swap deal involving Marcus Rashford and Lewis-Skelly makes sense for both clubs.
Pogba’s Comeback Might Be Over Before It Started
Paul Pogba is facing the abrupt end of his attempted football comeback. Goal.com says Monaco are preparing to terminate his contract following a new thigh injury.
The man has played about three games since returning from his doping ban. At this point, he should just start a podcast.
Tottenham in Talks for Balogun
Spurs have opened formal discussions to sign Monaco forward Folarin Balogun for around 60 million euros.
The Football Transfer League also notes he used to play for Arsenal, so this would be a proper north London wind-up.
Juventus are reportedly set to sign Zion Suzuki on a one-year loan from PSG as a temporary solution while they wait for Alisson Becker to become a free agent next summer.
Liverpool refused to sell Alisson this window, so Juve are playing the long game.
